I've avoided soft cases in the past because of their size and bulk, prefering the ultra-thin stiff polycarbanate cases. The stiff cases have worked well in protecting my phone because they have all sacrificed themselves. I end up buying a new $10 case every few months and it adds up. Even if it is just a small crack - it comprimises the case enough that it would not protect as much in a fall.This case is barely any thicker than the hard cases I used but much more durable. I've had it a few months and it shows no wear and has defended a few falls. I don't think I've had a corner-drop onto concrete yet - which the hard cases successfully handled - so I'll update this review if I find a gap in performance.As for other features like buttons and the camera and fingerprint reader access holes, I don't notice the case. It neither impedes nor enhances the existing features. That is exactly what I want in a case.So far, this is the best case I've ever had and would absolutely purchase the like again for my next phone.  Read Less
