It is fused mine was fitted with a 5 amp fuse but will work with a 13 amp and while the plug itself is sealed the fuse holder can be removed to replace it

Nicely sealed and packaged well maybe just a little bit too expensive compared to some others but without checking out the quality of competition i cant really rate it down too much after all pay the money for a decent lead when putting good power through it
