I does appear strange to see the cam pointed down but this allows the cam to see the room from the ceiling down when it is pointed up all the way

It is a little difficult to get the screw into the cam as others have said but a little patience fixes that

We mounted the camera to this mount with a separately purchased 632 one inch machine screw and a 632 wing nut

One difficulty we had is that the angle is not exactly 90 degrees where it meets the corner so it was difficult to get perfectly straight in the corner
