The rug stick does two amazing things1 it is great at picking up pet hairsor any hairs for that matter from the carpet2 it loosens the other debris that are buried or stuck deep in the carpet so that if you vacuum the carpet immediately after cleaning it with the woolite rug stick you will pick up debris and junk that you would not have otherwise picked up

If you have oldstubborn stains on the carpet dont expect them to magically disappear from your rugcarpet after one cleaning with this product but i am not sure if that is a realistic expectation anyway
