Pros & Cons

Pros

If you have rotted wood or broken wood/ceramic missing pieces this is your answer. This product is the best i have ever found for filling in large holes.

Abatron wood epoxy is incredibly easy to use and apply. A little pricey though. Abatron liquid wood is also excellent.

Follow the instructions and take your time in sanding. It dries as hard as wood and can be sanded and painted. It sands up perfectly.

Smoother comes clean, just spay it with wd-40first. Pliable but adheres well to vertical surfaces and retains its shape when molded.

Cons

Both parts are very crumbly and compressible. This makes an eyeball estimate of equal volume very unreliable. Brittle mixes resulting in weak and unworkable repairs.
