This door chime is awful the chime has only one setting the tone is waayy to long the infrared is too broad and goes off whenever anything is remotely near it

We have a cat window for him so he can come in whenever he wants but some days he just refuses to use it and instead will sit by one of the doors and look mournfully inside until someone notices him and lets him in

So we thought that a motionsensor bell might work on days when he decides the cat window is not a suitable entry back into the house

And the doorbellmotion sensor works beautifully we just rested it on the ground by the door and any time he approaches the door it goes off

Two issues with it the bell doesnt chime or ring it plays a loud long version of für elise that sounds like it should be inside a greeting card
