Other controllers i tried would randomly disconnect from the stick this stays connected.

If you go to settings click controllers and bluetooth devices then go to other bluetooth devices click add then on the game controller hold down the home button and the x button at the same time when gamepad shows up click gamepad with your fire stick remote then your all set.

Disliked this product because it sound like something broke in side when you shake it rattling inside

Even though it turns off on its own within a short amount of time at least it saves the charge that way.
