If you have an existing over the air antenna even analog this will work to convert to coax

I checked the lead on the antenna and saw where the sun had deteriorated the connectors plastic and weather resistant snap cap and allowed water into the connection

The second way to break the clips off the wire is by the weight and stress andor movement of the coax cable
