Since i posted my review i have been contacted by the seller i have recieved a new umbrella which arrived the next day

On the first day of use in not the most severe winds but still gusty it turned inside out

Surprisingly heavy and i need both hands free to close the thing as the button only collapses the canopy

To close the umbrella you push the same button the other way which partly collapses the umbrella

To close it just press the button again and it will close up but it wont deextend you have to push it back down manually as all of these windproof umbrellas i have seen lately

Is more expensive than i normally buy but i thought i would treat myself i just get a cheapy from primark normally it has a push button on the handle to open which works well and you use the same button to close it part way instead of having one of those horrid clips you pinch your fingers in to shut it all the way you have to push it closed which i found hard to do
