Easy to use lots of surface area and doesn’t damage my blades

Very good quality not magnetic nice ergonomic handle regular cut grooves

The grooves are deep and those freshly sharpened knives must be used on this with great caution

Flatoval steels produce a much straighter knife edge than with round steels and with fewer stokes across the steel

Price

Like i said the price is hard to beat

All and all i for a budget chinese steel it works really well

I wish were offered with a nice handle even if the price was higher id be willing to pay it
