Pros

Great product. Very stout, indeed. Extra inch works well for me when i'm standing or sitting. Has been on for a year already and still no complaints.

If it gets stained i just wash it in the dishwasher and it comes out like new. You need to put a mat (drawer mat) under it to keep it from slipping on the surface it is sitting. This allows the board to remain dry and out of my prep space.

It's the thickest cutting board i've ever had, almost too thick. It fit's in the overhand tabs of the sink which is about 17. Inches. It covers the left side of my stove perfectly, remaining far enough away from the big burner on the right.

Cons

Even the label says 1 inch thick! At 1/2” thick is a bad dealzero stars! You are unable to contact the seller directly and amazon, while helpful, cannot verify if the supplier has any 1 thick boards in stock. I wish i has checked other reviews first.
