    We never used to attract the beautiful yellow goldfinches or the red/ orange house finches until we added this crushed sunflower to our feeder.

    It may seem expensive initially, but my filled tube feeder with this in it lasts for 2 1/2 to 3 weeks compared to 1 1/2 days for my tube feeder filled with black oil sunflower seed, which leaves a mess and attracts squirrels and rats.
