Some tvs have higher quality onboard upscaling for hdmi or component cables this may depend on how nice a tv you have
If you need to connect to an hdmi this will do the job and the picture quality is good

At first the image looked kind of blurry but i went into the wiis system settings and changed the resolution from 480i to 480p

The new tvs do not have rga input so converting to hdmi is absolutely necessary
