I love how colette has written about the struggles of mental health which many people suffer from and shown that it doesn’t have to completely ruin your life but it will if you allow it like jamie was at the beginning of the book

The 2 main characters were flawed people but i instantly liked them

Although the young man doesnt want to admit it anger and feeling of betrayal are not the only emotions that accompany this encounter and everything that follows it

They have their unpleasant side effects and need time to start working but most importantly they wont hide us from the necessity to face our problems

We look at the events taking place in the novel from the perspective of both brett and jamie and we have an insight into their psyche which puts us in a situation better than the one they are in but just like them we have to put together the whole picture piece by piece
