I bought this from somewhere else but after installing it on the ceiling, my electrician noticed there was no pull chain and the entire mechanism to turn fan on/off was missing

This can be really frustrating after hours of labor installing it and then take it down to return it

Afterwards we found a better solution and actually bought a separate remote which we installed and now have both fan and lights controlled by the remote
