Most of these new cars are fitted with a sensor on key fob where you only need to be in range of the car and it will unlock the door . That’s handy if you have a hands full if shopping or you struggling you find you key at bottom of bag . But , not a good idea when it comes to the security of your car . You simply just have to touch the door handle and it will unlock the door . For security minded people like my self . Say you look your car door and you simply want to check the door is locked . Regardless of the fob is in your hand or in your pocket , bag . The car door will unlock . the sensor on the key fob will still pass through . For me this was worrying. While manufacturers will say the car locks fully straight away . There is that part of you that wants to be 100% sure the car is locked . Here is the good news This is a Great product that will prevent this . You receive 2 pouches , good Value for money . Well made . Provides you full Piece of mind knowing that once you have locked car doors and place fob in side pouch that the car is locked and no would be theif is gonna be able to get in the car and simply drive it away . The inside of pouch blocks the sensor on the key fob from allowing just a simple touch of the car door from opening . If you remove the key fob from pouch then sensor will work again as normal . It’s a cleaver piece of tech and not only does it prevent the unlocking of your car while out and about it also prevents burglary from your car while parked at home . If you leave the key fobs in pouch away from front of house any car theft will not be able to use a device that will scan the house to pick up the signal of the key fob . That would have allowed them to drive away with your car and not having needed to use the key fob to gain access to the car . For great peace of mind and at a very good price .
