Pros

This cover is a literal life saver! I wish the vent covers had a pocket for the vent louvers so i didn't have to cut a slit in the cover. Small enough that there doesn't seem to be any air leaks. I bet they work great for walls & ceilings.

It's absolutely a genius product! Would absolutely recommend. In theory, this is a good idea, since it gives a lot of flexibility in terms of how you can install it.

This magnetic vent cover is a lifesaver. The magnet is strong & stays in place even with my kid sliding all over the floor.

Cons

Magnetic force is so weak there was basically zero attraction to our wall vents. A refrigerator magnet is 100% stronger.

The cover has a thick piece of foam attached to a magnet that is extremely thin. The foam is so heavy that it pulls the cover down off our cleaned and not painted wall mounted vent.

The only caveat is that they come in packages of three and i only needed two so i now have an extra one i don’t need

I like that they included a warning to check if the ac vent is actually made of steel by using a kitchen magnet before opening the package

I think packages of two or selling them individually would be better

Last ones i bought another brand fell off and never worked
