This book has nothing to do with hiphop as an art form or media of expression other than from the cultural perspective of being a youngish american from the urban and largely 34ethnic34 culture

Additionally she annotates so many other wonderful peices written about hiphop gender relations feminism misogyny etc you almost want to buy the book to guide your future reading on the subject
