The camera is unusable for now. It’s a $100 paperweight! Not worth the $100 value. It is all random. Now a year later the $125 camera is useless.

Heat from being mounted to a windscreen caused the battery to swell and the casing is now permanently split. Having this battery fail and destroy the unit is dangerous and similar to keeping a ticking time bomb in your car.
