Bought this as my previous hard drive for my files in my Dell desktop PC was almost at full capacity. The HD arrived promptly via Amazon from Germany and was well protected for its journey.It was easy to pop open my desktop unit and remove the old hard drive before slotting the replacement one in to it's place and re-fixing securely.On powering up the PC it just needed formatting and allocating a drive letter which was easy to do (you can always view one of the tutorials showing you what to do on YouTube if you want assistance). Once all done, I copied back all my original files from my external backup drive so everything is back the way it was but with a whole load more capacity to future proof myself for another few years hopefully!I use the drive for mainly storing images and don't really find any noticeable delays in accessing the files for working on in PhotoShop CC.Really pleased that I now don't have any worries about hard drive capacity for a while.  Read Less

I won't write a review on performance, price, delivery etc. Plenty of those around. What I will focus is the warranty issue. Most reviews say that WD won't honour the 2yrs warranty. I was a bit sceptical before I purchased the drive, but as soon as it arrived, I registered it and got a confirmation email from WD (which also shows on my online account I had to create) to confirm that the drive has a 2yr warranty and the date it was covered till. WD WILL honour the 2yr warranty !!!  Read Less
