    I learned one thing though, the little red ball that shows the water level, when you're adding water that needs to be at the bottom of the line (number of cups you're making), not the top.

    Next time i made 12 cups i measured to where the red ball was at the bottom of the 12 cup mark and it did not overflow.

    It is much better then the previous one i bought (different brand, hamilton beach) where the bottom fell off and i had to glue it back on.
