It was so easy with the square fence!

I also tried the chamfer feature with the depth set at 0/64.
However i feel its a quality piece doing what it said it would.

I used this unit on a 2-inch thick piece of 120-year-old oak!
Relatively quiet compared to my old brand.
Fast dilivery, 6530 6-amp electric hand planer, not bad about the price, did an exellent job.
It has more bells and whistles than a planer valued at twice the price!

If you can hook this up to some type of central vac/dust system that'd probably make this much better, but the bag usually fills up after about 3 minutes of on and off work (i'd say i probably made about 10 passes over a distance of 15 inches of western red cedar.

The dustbag is also pretty difficult to empty out but there's probably an easier way to empty it.
