It stays connected well as long as you dont pull on it

The adapter it self is made out of low end plastic it does not feel very sturdy but from experience most adapters do and i will expect this one to do the same

Well yes of course it does it displays a digital output that a normal monitor can receive

The main reason i got this is because i wanted to connect my macbook pro to a second monitor to do some multitasking
