Nothing seemed to match the conure of the reciever

I put a scope with a 40mm bell on it with low rings and found that i couldnt get the desired eye relief because the bell couldnt go back any further without hitting the edge of the rail

I ended up taking a hacksaw to the last picatinny rail section and cutting it off

Moral of the story if you are planning on using low scope rings with a 40mm bell or larger be prepared to cut a section off of this rail to get it all to fit correctly

Update i just noticed that in addition to it being too thick which adds height it is too long on the front end

After hunting season ill have to cut it down or try to find a better base for my setup
