Pros

Wd 3tb external hard drive for xbox one x. Has lasted me about 5 years with no issues whatsoever. I use this for storing games for my xbox one and it works great. Hope it lasts longer than the previous wd 3 tb hard drive which died after 2 1/2 years.

Cons

It's a pain to have to unplug and replug when i need to use it but not unbearable. Never buy wd mybook. Worst costumer service. That it effectively cannot do expressly what it was built to do is mind-boggling.

Unintuitive, poorly marked, closes itself if it's not the active window. Sometimes can't read the drive and have to unplug/plug in usb cable to reset. Power supply is fine putting out the correct # of volts but no joy on the hard drive powering up and... Read More

Out of the box problem. Their customer service needs a major overhaul too. I refuse to continue giving my money to a company that is continuously providing their customers with products that they refuse to fix.

Have used this with an xbox 1 for several years and it still works well

Multiple games stored on it and have not ever come close to filling it up

Thats 6 yrs in my case of what can be described as very minimal use

I bought mine from walmart for about the same price though for 160 so i’d recommend waiting for it to be on sale at the very least

So it more than paid for itself in the time it saved me the first time i had to use it
