Pros

You have to do a little setup which is not at all difficult. I have a twonky media server that archives all of my media shares i've setup on the device. Phone backup and media server works much better than the older unit.

Cons

The nas is slow, even on our gigabit lan. There's only 4tb available on my phone. Media streaming requires clunky configuration of an unsupported 3rd party application.

Support team posting on the fora seem to have an attitude that their users are idiots for not understanding the 1990's-era, plainly not native-english writing documentation. The awarding of user-permissions is not very granular.

To upload a disk of info, had to reset up folders and then upload files. No longer able to view files and folders in the web portal. The cart also sets a cookie in your browser that wont let you try to check out again for 30 minutes.

The registration process is unbearable. Cheap unreliable garbage.
