Highlights
Quality
So far i have very happy with the pool cover pump
This pump is definitely a quality product and worth every penny
With the cost of you have a lot of leaves to keep from clogging the pump
It is currently may 2020 and i felt compelled to log onto amazon and write a review because i am just that pleased with it
Price
This alone makes it worth the price
Packaging/appearance
Right out of the box i gave it a test and it worked fast
Competitiveness
Better than its cheaper competitor which we have also purchased but broke sooner
My area just had a few days of heavy rain and this pump worked like a champ
I bought this pump for my inground pool
This is to set on top of a pool cover and not be put completley submerged

I do not have an automatic cover so the tarp is twelve inches below the normal summer water level

I attach a leaf net extension pole to the pump to move it to the center of the cover which is about 14 feet from the pool edge and it is somewhat awkward to maneuver at that distance

I have had it with crappy pumps that 1 do not pump when they are supposed to or 2 cycle on and off for no reason every 30 seconds even though it has not rained in weeks and the pool cover is dry
