Pros

The filtered water quality is about the same as the original water filter from lg, but at a fraction of the price. It fits perfectly and works just fine. Half the price of oem filter.

This is the easiest filter i have ever installed on this refrigerator. Once in place, zero leakage. Very little sputtering.

Cons

This one was installed per the instructions and has an intermittent strong chemical taste. Has to be a design flaw. After three emails back-and-forth all they have done is acknowledge the problem and say sorry for your inconvenience.
