    I purchased this product because occasionally the old pipes in our building like to force the water from the rinse cycle of the washing machine out the drain in the sink in the bathroom (which then overflows and causes a huge mess.

    By simply placing the leak bug in the bottom of the sink when running the washing machine, i'm quickly alerted when water starts coming out of the drain, allowing me to stop the washer before the countertop, cabinets, and drawers are flooded.
