Pros

Pump is quieter than than old one, and seems very well made. Works, but louder than the oem model. The pump is in two pieces so i could check for impeller damage prior to ordering replacement part. Fortunately this part somehow wasn't damaged.

Two screws, two hoses and two wires to remove to replace the pump. All you need is a phillips screwdriver, a pair of pliers, a bowl to catch water in and a flashlight. Easy to install and seems to work in test mode.

Changing this yourself saves you several hundred dollars in service calls. Way better savings over an appliance repair person and ge part. Hope it holds up like the oem.

Cons

Also, a tab located near the filter that is used to hold the pump in place while unscrewing the filter, was broken off. This pump worked for two months, it fail today.

I watched a youtube video after having a guy tell me it would cost 395 to have a new drain pump installed

Shipping

First one came damaged in shipping as the pictures show

0 stars for whomever is in charge of shipping

Throw in next day shipping and it was oy around 81

Also remember that the shipping companies dont always handle some packages with the care they should

Packaging/appearance

I also cleaned the drain hoses which are also easy to access

Notice the big hole in the box

Unfortunately they did not listen no packing materials of any kind again just the part loose in the box
