    However, the instructions did not specify that it was designed for each panel to overlap a wee bit and i did not discover this until putting up the 3rd panel (there are 4).

    Just make sure you pull a few inches of the paper off at a time from top to bottom, and smoothly adhere it to the wall little by little with a flat card or putty knife, correcting errors as you go.
