I was told that it would fit because if you know anything about these cars you know that the cobalt ss is the exact same engine and in fact replaced the saturn ion redline when saturn went out of business

Come to find out it did not fit in the sending unit of the pump

I even tried to alter the sending unit so the pump would fit in like some suggested on certain forums
