You can follow along with my photos but basically the installation goes as follows1 remove the old pads by just pulling until they pop out2 if you plan on replacing the mesh pads go ahead and peel off the old ones3 unstick the film over the 3m adhesive strips line up the notch in the pad to the piece that sticks out inside the headphones and press down while slightly stretching the mesh across the whole area4 grab either of the two new pads and press the rim of the cup under the numerous clips along the edge of the headphones

I might explore other options to try and find higher quality materials next time but i would expect to pay double

Instead they would begin to annoy my ears not hurt so much as bother after about 45 hours where the original bose qc earpads would not

The stiff part of the pads isnt quite as stiff so you have to work a bit to get them installed
