However there was nothing between our bedroom and this router except 2 walls on either side of a staircase and on 5ghz bands i dropped signals and got maybe 3mbs connections to lan resources

Glad to say that it doesnt have a gimmicky cylindrical shape or a stupid upright design with an even more stupid nonadjustable plastic stand
