This is the second adaptive defrost board i ordered. Perfect fit on my kitchenaid refrigerator. Got this for my kenmore side-by-side refrigerator for a fraction of the price on other websites.
Worked like a charm. All is back to normal. Hope it lasts.

The first one from another vendor was not the correct part although it said it was

You have to unplug the refrigerator pull off the strip at the top of the fridge side remove the four screws holding the panel in place remove the two screws holding the board then remove the plugs reverse the process to install the new board

If it isnt this then it may be the defrost thermostat above the coils
