Pros
Vortex customer service is stellar. The only thing i'm doing different next time is ffp. Very nice and accommodating service.
Glass is surprisingly clear, the reticle is simple. Fire-dot illuminates perfectly, lines up with the actual dot perfectly & doesn't splash into the the cross hairs; even on the full brightness setting.
My target there is 200 yards with a 450 bushmaster mossberg patriot predator. Mounted on my 300blk for low light and night hunting for hogs.
Cons
The zero mark on the upper turret is now loose and wont reset. Image is blurry and jumping when you pass 3. The reticle is canted by several degrees.

Installed this scope and rings on a ruger american 300win mag
This scope rivals my very expensive leupolds in clarity and function with one exception
I recommend a monstrum mount for this glass
I just sited it in on my competition rifle

For the 2x difference in clear zoom you can save yourself a lot of money and get the 618x version

On this one its not like the 24x isnt usable but it is going to be blurry so something to be aware of before you buy

I bought one of the original crossfire 6x24x50 mil dot scopes and had to send the 1st one back for clarity issues

The new one was incredibly sharp and clear and worked ok for a few years then the elevation quit adjusting and called vortex for a repair
