This fan does exactly what it proclaims. It allows me to complete my treadmill and cycling workouts. It replaces 2 other fans i was using.
We have this pointed at our bed and our bed is in a corner, so it's prime location for the air disbursement illustrated in the ad. It does as it says and circulates a lot of air in the room.
Cons
But it's really ugly. And it's unbelievably awkward.
The 783dc fan is not quiet at any speed. Large spikes in the spectrum graph indicate mechanical bearing noise. Sound pressure level (spl) shows mechanical grinding, not wind noise.
Front frill attracts dust and grease and the only way to clean it is to remove the front frill. The "omni-directional" quality is a joke.
If there's not any noticeable air circulation at lower speeds. Shortness of the stand only makes it blow into the back of furniture and that's pretty useless.

This thing create some serious air movement and actually gets too cold even here in palm springs

However while the 633dc is virtually silent at lower speeds the 783dc still has some noise which i find is a drawback

Cant turndown too low or all you hear is the motor cranking away at the midhz range ie dont buy this if youre looking for broad whitebrown noise
