The reason is that in the process of rotating the tool i would inadvertently hit the buttons that adjust heat andor turn the power onoff

I found this extremely annoying as i would have to constantly check to make sure i hadnt bumped the heat up or down or turned it off completely

The other issue i had with this tool is that it does not remember your heat setting so you have to reset it each and every time you turn on the iron

A few things i like is the iron fit my hand nicely being able to control the temperature to the degree if you want it to be 328 degrees you can set it at that no guessing and of course the auto shutoff feature was reassuring as i have been known to go off and leave things like this plugged in and turned on
