I worked several years as a projectionist in a movie theater. I even had the pleasure of getting to be involved in the construction phase of one. I absolutely learned a lot about the equipment and what's behind the curtain.So awhile back I finally bought a projector. I have wanted one for quite some time. Initially, my husband built us a screen for our backyard. It's all wood and I painted it white. It's really cool, but can't bring it inside...lol.We get a decent picture on our walls or with a sheet, but I wanted the movie theater type experience without having to build a theater room.So I definitely needed a portable screen that could be easily put away. I liked this one because it looked so simple. I was right. All you do is open the tripod legs, pull up the screen (there is a cord that hooks to this piece), and adjust the height if need be. It seriously takes maybe 2 minutes and that's being generous.To adjust the height, there is this blue button thing and handle you use. The screen can go from 6 to 8 feet.The screen is made of a plastic, which is not unusual for home screens. Movie theater screens are typically made of vinyl. My sis and BIL have an actual movie theater room and theirs is plastic as well. Like I said, pretty common.We are able to easily set up the screen in front of our TV stand and have no issues with the projector being across the room (about 16 feet) and still getting a great quality picture.My favorite thing is that it folds up easily to be put away. We have had this for almost a month now and we keep it up and use it every weekend. We pop our popcorn, get our snacks, and pretend we are actually at the movies. Then Sunday night we put it away. If you can't afford to do an actual movie theater room, then this an awesome alternative.Not only that, you can easily take this movie theater anywhere. Portability is key and something our family definitely looks for. It's great you can take it anywhere.
