At the beginning of this year I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. For that reason I started with supplementing K2 D3 vitamin after reading about the positive effects of it on bone structure. I had another bone scan done this July, and my bone density had improved! I believe I can attribute it, at least in part, to this product - the second part belongs to a vegan plant based diet.This is a convenient way of assuring that you are getting BOTH vitamins K2 and D3, thus supporting needed calcium in bones, while avoiding calcification of soft tissues, such as blood vessels. The latter would be a problem without the vitamin K2 MK7. You should NOT supplement with calcium and D3 unless you also supplements with K2. In my case, it is really important to supplement K2 because I am a vegan. Since vitamin K2 is mainly found in certain animal and fermented foods - which most people don't eat much of. If these foods are inaccessible, taking mk7 vitamin k2 is a valid alternative. Everyone needs to be taking this product to either help prevent bone loss or to help rebuild it.
