Pros

No other blender compares to the vitamix 5200. I use the 5200 to make amazing sorbet as an amazing summertime thirst quencher.

The carafe is 100% perfectly shaped. It is easy to mix in many fresh fruits or vegetables. I rarely need to use the tamper. It's so much easier making frozen fruit smoothies in the morning.

Vitamix blenders are a great powerhouse when it comes to blending. This blender is on a whole other level than any ninja or other brand besides maybe blendtec. Blending power is tops.

Cons

Review was moderated by vitamix because i said something bad about their inept customer service. Either this is a knock off or refurbished or defective but they won’t allow a return after 1 month. Junk junk junk.

The vitamix has a burning smell when used. My plastic is pitted and discolored.

I was impressed with how quickly it was delivered

Came with an easy qr code to quickly register the blender

I received the blender in november and let is sit for a week before i opened it

A nice young man answered immediately and instead of trying to wiggle out of honoring the warranty he sent me a shipping label

Competitiveness

This new 5200 model with the tall container blends much better than the new 7500 model with the low profile container

So far everything that ive used it for has produced superior quality than any of my other blender brands used in the past

Now i may have to sell those because the vitamix is so much better

I bought a cheaper explorian series vitamix from costco and was disappointed with it
