Pros
Charging is fast enough and they hold a charge for quite a while. These now charge from the ubiquitous usb. I still prefer the originals that plugged directly into a wall outlet. It's really loud and has a lot of power.
Very good self defense gadget. I like the safety lanyard that disables the device if it comes out of the owner's hand. Amazing self-defense weapon for the price.
Cons
Read the manuel and understood that discharging into the air for more than 1 second at a time would damage the unit. Does me no good if i can't carry it on my belt.
This brand is not dependable. Look at other reviews of this junk. Marketable only as gag gift!

The product works but it has a pin on a wrist band to disable the unit if someone takes it from you there is no place on the unit to plug in this pin for the purpose stated
