If you are using the default wiring kit, you can run it own the passenger side and plug it into an car outlet or usb. Comes with a cigarette-lighter-to-usb adapter and a very long usb cable. Make sure to purchase an 'endurance' micro-sd.

This is not convenient, but it's doable. I live in an area where 100 degree temps are not uncommon. Will be ordering five more cameras for my work vehicles.

The menu is tricky to navigate at first, it isn't clear what * do what, but you learn fairly quickly. Easy to setup and install. Set up was a breeze.

Cons

It feels cheaply made. Biggest concern is the camera failing and not realizing it. I also have the a129 duo in another vehicle, which is far more secure.

It also sometimes just starts randomly beeping at me. The housing molds need a revision to prevent this.

Went with a 128gb memory card and it seems to last forever on long drives

I also purchased a pair of 128gb samsung highendurance microsd cards primary and backup and a hardware kit

I would recommend at least a 128gb micro sd card
