Been using it for about 2 years - it's travelled to numerous countries with me. Youngest uses one for school. Prior to that ny eldest used it for college.
Cons
It looks durable enough to hold a couple of photos, maybe a note or two but nothing else. Without it, it looks cheap and is useless as i can't close it properly.

The canvas is robust enough to convey a degree of water resistance but heavy rain out walking would see it soaked after a while
