The clear parts are all plastic in the pictures they look glass

For this wine opener you simply insert the needle into the cork pump a few times and with forced air that you are pumping into the bottle below the cork the cork is pushed out

This comes in black and though it is synthetic cork friendly reviews do not give it high marks in this department
