    Update 12617 the picture stopped working because my cable box got some kind of firmware update

    That need was to send video from a chromcast to the tv via hdmi and the sound to the avr via optical

    I tried several hdmi in to hdmi and rl out units but all of the ones i tried seemed to be too cumbersome and would require a separate channel selector which would about double the cost for me

    One problem were having now is audio cuts out when switching backandforth
