I was about to give up on this until i ran across another screen shot from another customer, so i looked at my options on quick time and they were different as you can see in the screen shot i posted.

So i then i tried it on another mac running high sierra and bingo the options were different and it worked just fine with high sierra.

The picture quality and sound quality are both as good as what i see and hear coming from the camcorder itself.

When i first tried to use the device it did not work, but then i tried plugging it directly into my computer instead of using the usb extension cable.

If you have a mac you don’t need to download the software from the minidisc.
