Pros & Cons
Pros
It is spacious and uniquely designed, needing only one pole. The bottom of the tent seems thin but i always use a thin carpet stuff to protect the floor of my tents. Not for cold climates but great otherwise.
It’s pretty straightforward. Worth every penny.
Stays nice and cool because of the height. For shorties like me at 5’4”, it’s fine. Perfect for 1 full size adult with all kinds of gear and a cot. Cool style for 1-3 campers.
Cons
The smell of the tent confirms that for me. The tent pegs are not strong enough so you need to replace them with stronger ones. No heat retention whatsoever.
There is no way it fits 5-6 people comfortably. Will be returning this tent. Overall, not worth the money. Honestly not very pleased.
Highlights
Quality
It is decent quality definetly water tight i went through stroms and does ok in windy conditions
Just in case i did put two cans of kiwi waterproofing spray on it before using but i was really happy with the results
Product improvment idea use a compression sack for the tent storage
You definitely need to buy better quality tent stakes other than that this tent is phenomenal
Competitiveness
I bought ths for my grandaughters ages 6 and 8
Buy a 12x12 14mil protarp and lay it down on the floor

Either remove 4 corners to fit or fold them under or roll them up

The front flap with pole and tie ropes very low to the ground so dont count on using it as shade in a regular chair

Just roll it up and get a sun canopy instead to put there

In winter lower the outer shell to the ground by adjusting the tripod you made 3 poles tied together at the top individually and then to one another and then as a bundle after set in position
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I’m going to have to make tripod frame for it because the center pole eats valuable space

We also did not like that the screen does not hook onto the fly which makes it a bit droopy inside the tent and you can’t get the mesh fully taught because it’s attached to the floor which has zero stretch
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
If the screen could be stretched out the same way the fly does it would open the space much more
