It has a good sound. The headphone jack works well and the sound is loud and clear using standard headphones. For having only one speaker, it gets to a decently loud volume too.
It seems a better quality, sturdier yet still more compact. After nearly a month of frequent use, it stills works great! The bluetooth also works well. It's so portable.
Only complaint is that the included mic for recording isn't the best, but i'll take what i can get. For those who complain about the deck chewing up it's important to take the slack out of tapes before placing them in any cassette player?

It has everything you want and it looks super cool and retro. Very satisfied with this item. Completely nostalgic. Love the retro look.

Guess im dating myself but for me this is second nature hold one reel with a finger then turn the other reel in the opposite direction until any slack comes out

Having slack in a tape before playing it allows the tape to wind up around the capstan creating quite the little mess

I wanted an old fashioned looking little unit with loud and clear sound and with a good quality cassette player and thats what it is
