It is fairly quiet when in use much less whirring and humming than a previous cd re writer i have had

It is not the sturdiest design with the built in usb however as it can not be removed so hence if it was to be damaged then the whole drive would become unusable

It will not burn dvds only cd format burning but thats good enough for my needs it plays dvds though and through the 4k screen looks good

Its first day so reliability cant be assessed but if it lasts a year or two for £15 i wouldnt moan but i can see it lasting the life of the mac

Ejects automatically as per windows media settings but you can manually adjust by pressing the top left hand corner of the player

Reads and writes cds fine have not tried dvds so cannot comment but the instructions say to write dvd you have to download a programme
